Day Two of Construction by Bruce Raine - July 21st

Hi Everyone,
What a beautiful place here in Wyoming. My hosts, Merl and Kitty, took me for a drive up to the badlands. They are sort of like the Grand Canyon area with lots of layers of rock which are different colors. The shapes of some rocks are extremely interesting. For example Chimney Rock is brick red and shaped like-a chimney! I walked on some and it felt like being on the moon.
The people here are wonderful. When they were doing the home assignments I told them I was allergic to cats so logically they sent me to Merl and KITTY's home. They are a nice couple and every morning after breakfast we have a half hour of devotions and I just love it. Everyone I met have been friendly and very fun.
As for the work at the church, I am witnessing God's wisdom every day. It is very obvious why God made me a professor and not a carpenter. I hope I survive the trip without Bruce killing me for my mistakes. Fortunately he is very forgiving.
The work is progressing well. Chuck and I shoveled dirt getting ready for the sidewalk. A job that fit my skill level perfectly I must admit. We are working with Gary and Jerry from Shell and having lots of fun while getting our work done.
I am having fun but miss Anacortes and everyone.
Lots of Love, (Handsome) Bruce Raine
