Jesus issued the Great Commission to go and make disciples. He also reminded his disciples that he willingly welcomed children to come to him. Confident that Jesus' concern for disciple-making and care of children is still important today, the Children and Youth Ministries Committee's purpose is to help children and youth and their families develop a foundation of faith in Jesus Christ through purposeful Christ-centered programming.

At Westminster, children (birth thru 6th grade) and youth (7th grade thru 12th grade) are served by the Children and Youth Ministries (CYM) Committee. The CYM Committee is blessed with many volunteers and a dynamic Children and Youth Ministries Director, Joy Wendling, who help facilitate a full year's worth of relationship-building and disciple-making.
