Joy Brandli came on staff as Westminster's full time Director of Children's and Youth Ministries in 2007. She grew up in Virginia, where she accepted Christ at the age of 7 through being involved in AWANAS. Joy has more than 9 years of ministry experience with Young Life-in the Southeast as well as in the Pacific Northwest.

Her leadership at Westminster has already been positively seen in a new pre-school component for Vacation Bible School, an Upper Elementary monthly Youth Group (SHINE) in addition to our Middle School (iCheese) and High School (The FANNY Pack) Youth Groups.

In addition to serving as the Director of CYM, Joy volunteers at the Middle School and Island View Elementary School, serves as a Young Life Leader, and participates in the Anacortes Youth Network.  She can be frequently spotted at school and sporting events-supporting our children and youth, strengthening relationships and making new ones.   

Joy is a 2004 graduate of Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, where she majored in Spanish with a minor in French. She is currently attending Fuller Theological Seminary pursuing a Master's of Arts in Youth, Family, and Culture. Her favorite praise song is Delirous's "The Happy Song" because it expresses the fun and joy of being in relationship with Christ and the desire to tell everyone of His love.

In her spare time, Joy enjoys learning, reading, doing arts and crafts, and watching movies.
