For the Fellowship Committee, emphasis is placed on welcoming people and extending personal invitations to church events and activities.

Homemade bread is delivered to first time visitors in Anacortes and third time visitors receive a personal call. We want to get to know you! Name badges are encouraged at Westminster so everyone has the opportunity to call others by name. Badges may be requested by anyone attending worship; it is not necessary to be a member to receive one. A photo directory is published every few years and the church office can provide a copy of an updated directory upon request. Photos of church events and milestone moments in the lives of the congregation are often posted throughout the church building and on the Sanctuary screen on Sundays.

The Bible teaches us that Jesus enjoyed relationships and fellowship with his disciples. Wanting to continue building relationships, the Fellowship & Membership Committee plans and provides activities that promote Christian fellowship between individuals of all ages. Events are planned for the whole congregation, but smaller gatherings are also very successful in building relationships and getting to know people at a "heart" level. Some of the successful fellowship events offered each year include:

• Sunday Fellowship Time—a time to gather, meet people, visit with friends, and share a cup of coffee following every worship service
• Small Dinner Groups—breaking bread and meeting together
• Game Nights—inter-generational gathers to play or learn a new game
• Lenten Soup Meals—following our Wednesday Lenten services
• Maundy Thursday Soup Dinner—preceding the Maundy Thursday worship service
• Ice Cream Social—everyone enjoys ice cream and the toppings are incredible!
• All Church Picnic—following worship on a Sunday in August
• Volunteer Appreciation Sunday—giving thanks for everyone who contributes to the ministry at Westminster
• Ethnic Food Fair—held the first Sunday in October in conjunction with World Communion Sunday
• Potlucks—we're Presbyterian…do we need to say more?
• Christmas Caroling—bringing the joy of the season to our less mobile members and friends
