In sharing the Passover meal with the disciples, Jesus asked them to "do this in remembrance" of him. The church continues to break the bread and share the cup and remember Jesus. We commune together on the first Sunday of the month as well as other special times of the year. Communion is celebrated in a variety of ways. Sometimes we pass the trays and sometimes we serve by intinction (dipping a piece of bread into the cup).
The communion table is open-you need not be a member of Westminster or even a Presbyterian church. All are welcome-children too.
