God's love fills all our in-betweens.

We are a mixed bag of individuals and yet we are all one in Jesus. (Galatians 3:27)

You are invited to join our nurturing, affirming community as we participate in the wild love of Jesus Christ.

At Westminster, Jesus Christ is worshipped and praised! A Christian presence in Anacortes for over one hundred years, Westminster has a rich past and a promising future. Worship opportunities abound in this church family. Bible studies and educational opportunities take place throughout each week. We welcome all of God's children. There is a place for you!

Who We Are

Westminster Presbyterian Church in Anacortes, WA has been worshiping God and serving the world since 1889! We are part of the larger denomination Presbyterian Church (USA).

We represent a delightful blend of young and old, conservative and liberal, contemporary and traditional people. In our diversity, we have found a way to stay together and value our shared love of Jesus Christ.

Westminster is recognized for being community-oriented. We host a weekly Sunday night dinner for anyone who desires food and fellowship. We participate in Anacortes PRIDE weekend and ecumenical worship opportunities. We actively support foster families, offer children's camps, and engage in vibrant global ministries.  Food-to-go is a backpack food ministry housed at Westminster that serves 200+  Anacortes students weekly. We offer a variety of concerts throughout the year that are open to all and free to attend.  We view our building as an outreach hub and welcome a wide range of user groups to our space, including multiple 12-step groups, Anacortes Community Theatre, Stroke/Traumatic Brain Injury Support Groups, Lions Club, Quilting Groups, Alzheimer's Support Group, and Community Blood Drives

Westminster is governed by a Session that meets monthly.  It is comprised of the pastor and nine elected elders.
