What to Expect

Westminster worships at 10 am each Sunday in person and online.  As part of the Presbyterian Church USA we follow reformed worship, which includes a call to worship, a time of worship and praise in song, the confession of our sins to God, receiving an assurance of pardon for our sins, passing the peace of Christ, scripture readings, a sermon, offering and dedicating our time, talent, and treasure to God, a variety of prayer styles, the Lord's Prayer sometimes using traditional and sometimes ecumenical language, and a charge and benediction.  We celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first and third Sundays of each month.

Our music is led primarily by a team of volunteer musicians under the direction of Gillian Westerman, our Director of Music, Worship, and Arts.  The music team leads praise songs & hymns, both old and new.  We use a variety of instruments each week, including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocalists.  We most often use our pipe organ and baby grand piano as a secondary means of musical leadership, in conjunction with our music team. We hope you'll join us!
