Believing that Christian spiritual development is the way to grow closer to and more like Jesus, the Adult Ministries Committee encourages discipleship for adults at all levels of spiritual growth and provides opportunities in four specific areas: bible based instruction designed to inspire a deepening of personal faith in Jesus Christ; Small groups established to provide for the mutual edification and fellowship of their members; retreats and other special events which seek to equip participants for their calling as ministers; and practical opportunities to engage in outreach and evangelism in the community. Opportunities within these areas include: Sunday education hour, retreats, mid-week bible studies, workshops, and community outreach events.
